VE (Ham Exam) Information

The American Radio Relay League has an exam-finder home page.  Not only does it list ARRL VEC sessions, but also other VECs as well, such as W5YI.

By using the ARRL page to dynamically generate a list for you, you'll receive the latest registered set of of exam sessions at the ARRL site.  It also allows you to tailor the search by the distance YOU are willing to travel!  Therefore, rather than duplicate their information here, we simply point to the ARRL site unless their is a special reason to post additional exam session information below.

  • This link generates a listing of VE sessions grouped by NY State as the selection criteria.
  • This link generates a listing of VE sessions grouped by a distance of 50 miles from Poughkeepsie.
  • This link generates a listing of VE sessions grouped by a distance of 50 miles from Albany..

Hamfests

The American Radio Relay League also has a tremendous amount of hamfest listings.

BUT!  The Mt. Beacon ARC is having their Spring Hamfest, as well as hosting the ENY Section Convention, on Sunday, April 29th - more information on their website!
